Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the artery walls as the heart pumps out blood. If blood pressure remains elevated over a period of time, damage to the body can occur in various ways.

Blood pressure screenings are held the third Sunday of each month following both services and prior to the Friend’s Class meeting on Friday afternoons. The location is announced in the Church Bell prior to each screening.
