According to the CDC, “Influenza (the flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccination each year.”

Due to area agencies policy changes regarding public flu shot clinics, First Presbyterian Church will not be hosting any flu shot clinics in 2009. Check out the Health Ministry Bulletin Board for clinics scheduled at Valley VNA.
