Community Outreach
- First Presbyterian prepares and serves meals at a local ecumenical Community Table several times a year.
- Members are active in several building projects that provide housing for the homeless.
- Happy Friends, a bi-monthy program for developmentally challenged adults meets in the church and is staffed by members.
- Our congregation’s health care ministry is involved with the Community Health Clinic.
- A Head Start Program for at risk children uses our facilities five days a week.
- Financial support and volunteer help are provided for regional domestic abuse services.
