T.L.C. Sewing is a Tender Loving Care, hands-on mission opportunity that started in 1995 sewing new school outfits for boys and girls in need. Helping to tackle poverty one outfit at a time. It continues to sew for children, but has added cosmetic bags for the Health Ministry Team for women in shelters, repairing pillows for the youth room, sewing flannel nightshirts for the homeless shelters and an occasional quilt. It is a great multi-generational group that meets the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in B3 (except August and December). You do not need to know how to sew to join us.
